Job Summary
Universal Pro Care Inc. is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, employees, and community partners. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily office operations while helping ensure exceptional service delivery for individuals receiving residential and community-based support services.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, vendors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information regarding agency services.
- Maintain a professional reception area and office environment.
Office Operations
- Monitor and request office supplies and equipment.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Coordinate office maintenance requests and contractor communications.
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
Human Resources Support
- Assist with onboarding paperwork for new employees.
- Maintain personnel files and training records.
- Schedule interviews and employee orientations.
- Support staff credentialing and compliance tracking.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.
- One or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers, desktop phones, and scheduling software
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to pass required background screenings.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
